They say, "Nationalism is the last refuge of scoundrels."

I say that what we have here is the politicizing of crime, with the White House trying to push the notion that it's not crime if you're a politician!

In other words, Bush and Cheney and DeLay and Libby are saying, "We are not criminals because we're politicians!"

I wonder: Would that have worked for Nixon?

"I am not a crook! I am a politician and therefore have the right to do crime!"

I don't think so.
