The standing precedent, and what's at stake

Justice O'Connor did not

Justice O'Connor did not write Casey. She was one of three to sign on to a "joint opinion" -- Souter wrote most of it according to what little has been reported from former clerks.

Do you have any sources?

I am going by what Court was reported on the NewsHour, Washington Week and NPR. Even if she did not pen the language, she signed it. The point of the post is what the precedent indeed is, and what's at stake when people say they're going to overturn it.
