Note that despite the solid opposition among the people of all political philosophies, not one Republican voted against this abomination of a bill. Many of the states hardest hit by this bill are in the red South, but their Senators have other priorities.

Time to get out the broom!

(I am so fucking angry. Voting for this bill is immoral! What's next? Debtor's prison???)

Blue says:

It seems most of the red south is voting on emotional issues like abortion. Most people around here do not understand the finite rules that go on with bankruptcies nor do they understand that bankruptcies happen to good people, not necessarily people who are just attempting to defraud someone.

The sad part is that many bankruptcies are caused by job loss, or medical problems.

"What this country needs is the best politicians that money can buy."

I understand the "R" voters who voted for. I understand the "D" voters who voted against. But why would "D" senators vote in favor? Vichy Democrats.
