Watch out for Dead-Eye Dick Cheney
The late-night comics will be sure to let us know whether we can laugh because the guy apparently is alright, but really, Dick, you should think about taking personal responsibility for your own gun control:
Harry Whittington, a millionaire attorney from Austin, was "alert and doing fine" in a Corpus Christi hospital Sunday after he was shot by Cheney on a ranch in south Texas, said Katharine Armstrong, the property's owner.
He was in stable condition Sunday, said Yvonne Wheeler, spokeswoman for the Christus Spohn Health System in Corpus Christi.
Armstrong in an interview with The Associated Press said Whittington, 78, was mostly injured on his right side, with the pellets hitting his cheek, neck and chest during the incident which occurred late afternoon on Saturday.
Maybe it's a good thing Dead-Eye Dick got four deferments to avoid service during Vietnam. The man is dangerous when he has firearms in his hands.

What a dumbass!!!! Lets send him to Iraq!
...and keep Dick far far away.
my dad used to hunt quail. and i'm sure if he were still alive today he'd be laughing at the vice-president and it wouldn't be a very kind laugh either. a mistake like that will lower the "respect" mr. big cheney is held in by all the bubbas that hunt. hard to look up to a "better" when he blasts someone with a shotgun whilst hunting. now he's got that rep, he's not anyone you really want to hunt with cause you never know. i mean its just not done.
