Yet another self-hating homosexual Evangelical leader?

"Self-hating?" I don't think so.

Firstly, I'm not a member of his religious organization and disapprove both his theology AND sin. He obviously realizes homosexuality is sin against God and his own body, but hasn't learned how to overcome it as God instructed Cain in the Old Testament. Too bad. There were others in 1Co 6 who learned how to overcome it, whom Paul knew and said were "washed, sanctified and justified." Of course, that means they gave it up for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit doesn't occupy a place in a body as His temple when another part of that body is lying, committing adultery, fornication, etc. Just so I'm not misunderstood, the Holy Spirit is only received at time of immersion in water FOR remission of sins TO receive His indwelling. The burial in water does not allow for crawling up out of that grave to go back to sin without the consequences of that sin. Ahem!

I'm not sure I understand

If he's convinced homosexuality is a sin against his God, well, that's his own purgatory. What's self-hating about it, and typical of this kind of mental/emotional pathology, is that he projects it outward, and demands that everyone else conform to his own views.

In other words, other people's homosexuality is none of his business, is it?
