IV. Religion vs. Reason

Talking to Christians

I was raised a "Preacher's Kid" and went through both rebellion and acceptance. I have long noticed the people who are most rabid are those without the imagination to realize accepting something without questioning it isn't faith but slavery. Many semanarians are much more liberal than their congregations would be happy with if they only knew what they really thought. Politics (yes, power applications) infect churches so that those who would really have neat things to say are often constrained. So it is that those who supposedly promote co-operation and mutual understanding still serve a temple as corrupt as any Sanhedrin while professing spiritual grace. It's enough to make one weep. By the way, I have yet to hear anyone with an opinion I respect say Buddism is inconsistant with Christianity.
