Kerfuffle redux

Bad NARAL ad? So sue me!

There have always been outrageous ads, bad ads, and foolish ads. I recall when Lydon Johnson ran against Barry Goldwater an ad ran - only once - showing a little girl in a field. There was a man's voice-over counting down to zero. Then a nuclear blast.

Gerald Ford wore a WIN button - whip inflation now. That lasted about one press conference.

Johnson won by a landslide. Ford probably lost because the economy was mired and he granted a legal pardon to Nixon.

So NARAL has a bad ad. Ever had a bad hair day?

Bush is his own bad ad and he is his own worst enemy, yet he continues to dunder-head around. Every time he speaks, I shudder in embarrassment for him.

I feel about this NARAL thing like I am back in "kin-de-garden" and the kids are all pointing and chanting, "NARAL's got a bad ad! NARAL's got a bad ad! NARAL's got a bad ad!"

Pleeze!

Good point

Funny how we never saw any outrage, though, expressed by the right towards the Swift Boat Veterans for [Bush at Any Cost Including the] Truth.
