There is yet another "study" by two guys who claim that men are more intelligent than women. [via Atrios.] .
One of the researchers, Richard Lynn, was a source cited for the racist book "The Bell Curve".

Murray and Herrnstein describe Lynn as "a leading scholar of racial and ethnic differences." Here's a sample of Lynn's thinking on such differences: "What is called for here is not genocide, the killing off of the population of incompetent cultures. But we do need to think realistically in terms of the 'phasing out' of such peoples.... Evolutionary progress means the extinction of the less competent. To think otherwise is mere sentimentality." (cited in Newsday, 11/9/94)
Elsewhere Lynn makes clear which "incompetent cultures" need "phasing out": "Who can doubt that the Caucasoids and the Mongoloids are the only two races that have made any significant contributions to civilization?" (cited in New Republic, 10/31/94)
Now consider these people, and their agenda, and put it in the context of an America where the government controls breeding. Face it: If the government can force a woman to carry a pregnancy to term, it can force a woman to abort the pregnancy. And sterilize certain people for the "phasing out."
There are reasons why our Constitution and the Bill of Rights restrict the power of the government.
Think about this next time you hear a "pro-life" advocate agitating for government control of the womb.

Ever listen to some of the speeches the Nazi's gave their extermination squads - what decent fellows they were and how they should not get sentimental.

Dr. Lynn is on the board of the Pioneer Fund and receives research grants from them. The Pioneer Fund is on the Southern Poverty Law Center's watch list. They have a eugenics agenda. They were formed in 1937 to “aid in conducting study and research into the problems of heredity and eugenics in the human race�.
Though, Dr Irwing, a senior lecturer in organisational psychology at Manchester University, at first felt uncomfortable with the results, he later got convinced after getting enough evidence on differences in intelligence between racial groups.

Dr. Lynn believes that people are getting more stupid since the mid 19th century, and he credits this with white women becoming educated on birth control.
BBC didn't report on the agenda of either of these men in their small story.
