In Wisconsin, sex-free colleges? Or more pregnant students?

In yet another case of the "punish the women" politics....

Wisconsin has passed a bill entitled UW Birth Control Ban-AB 343. This bill prohibits University of Wisconsin campuses from prescribing, dispensing and advertising all forms of birth control and emergency contraceptives. Wisconsin State Rep. Dan LeMahieu, R-Oostburg, introduced this bill based on the belief that "dispensing birth control and emergency contraceptives leads to promiscuity."

Once again, self-proclaimed "pro-life" politicians demonstrate that their goal is not reducing the number of abortions in this country, but rather to pass punitive laws against women who have sex. Anyone with a kernel of common sense knows that taking away birth control is not going to stop the human sex drive. Either Rep. LeMahieu and his cohorts have no sense, or their agenda is not to reduce unwanted pregnancies but rather to vastly increase unwanted pregnancies.

Why? Your guess is as good as mine. I cannot imagine why politicians would want to get involved with the private medical decisions of adult women, but clearly they do. They're seemingly obsessed about it.

Pharmacists playing doctor....Eliminating sex ed from high schools....Prevening even married women from getting birth control....This isn't about abortion, it's about controlling women. And that is just misogyny, no matter how self-righteous the intention.

My proposed bill prohibits people from speaking about or engaging in any form of religion. The bill is based on the belief that "discussing religion leads to fuzzy thinking and intolerance."

to maintain the patriarchy, which supports the class structure that makes politicians and coporate elitists rich from other people's work.

This has always been about controlling women, not about babies. They don't give a shit about anyone once they're born.
