So much wisdom, so little time
It's getting so I end up spending way too much time just trying to keep up with the blogs I enjoy -- not to mention the stories they uncover and upon which comment, which is a job enough in itself, what with all the outrageous and systematic destruction of American values, morals, prestige and respect being perpetrated by radical martinets on the right.
The blogroll here has been growing a little bit every week, to the point where I had to buy a Blogrolling gold account just to be able to sort them out a bit. Today is a good day because of several oustanding additions:
- Body and Soul, who does some good digging;
- green gabbro, who's filed under "feminists" but really has much more eclectic offerings as well;
- Sisyphus Shrugged, another progressive voice speaking of the real world;
- Pseudo-Adrienne's Liberal-Feminist Bias, which is snarky fun;
- Pacific Views, a progressive news blog;
- Farai Chideya, journalist blogger and author of a book I've not read, but want to;
- Pop and Politics, a place with some fascinating articles and such;
- Peek, the new "blog of blogs" run by AlterNet's Evan, who, because of his rapid and courteous responses online and by email to suggestions by myself and others, has earned high marks from me.
There will be more, mostly unannounced additions as time goes by, but I thought I'd mention these here because I feel like I received a bunch of gifts. Now if only I could add another 12 hours to each day so I could do a proper job of keeping up.
