House calls from the Senate

Matsu's picture

Senator Frist called it as he saw it. Alas, he called it wrong. He made his insight,

...based on a review of the video footage which I spent an hour or so looking at last night

Fair is fair, and so I too did some video viewing and I think on two recent films, "Revenge of the Sith" and "Million Dollar Baby."

The Sith simply cannot accept death is part of life. And say what you will for the Christian Right, like the Emperor of the film, they fear it and want to somehow beat it. Put the person on a feeding tube - our precursor to the Darth Vader suit - and all will be well. Say what they will about their belief in "The Force," but they are terrified.

Compare what Frankie does for Maggie. Who loved who more. Who showed the most compassion.

But don't mind me - I got this diagnosis from some video.

It doesn't matter if they corrupt life in the process, they cling to it at all costs. How ironic that the supposedly religious fear death so much. Here I'm supposedly a heathen, by their judgment, but I would not consider the life Terri had over the past several years to be something to treasure. I hate to say it, but it's almost like they wanted her on that cross, suffering for their sins, so they could crow about their righteousness.
